And now it is August – HOT!
Where has the time gone????
Last month was filled with the AQS in Knoxville, busy, busy, busy. Thanks to those of you who stopped by to say HI…I was working in the MidSouth Sewing and Floriani booths most of the time but also hung out with Laurie Malm in the Lollipops booth (she has a great new book to go with the Quick Point Rulers). I will be putting Laurie’s book on the site asap…the rulers are there now…take a look…Another friend, Stephanie, with Fabric Studio, was there…and of course all of my old…er..long time buddies..Britt and Mickie and their great array of ‘tools’…it was a great show. If you missed it this year, try next summer.
I have a dinner on the deck for my vendor/teacher friends..so we can relax after a long day at the booth/classroom.
Now, I am working on the last rows of two challange quilts that some of the Square in a Square teachers do every year…the last rows are always more challenging than the first ones!
Next, I will start making kits for the Fall shows. I will be teaching at the American Sewing and Quilt Expo in Novi, MI and then on to Indiana for the Embroidery Conference…then on to Duluth (GA) for the GA/Original Quilt Show…followed by a quick trip to Houston for Market…then…collapse time…will probably head down to FL for some R and R!!
Don’t forget to find me on Facebook and Twitter!! Isn’t this fun…well, the challenge quilts are calling…more later. Happy Stitching…
